As in-house digital editor for Parliament’s Education Service, I was asked to write the content and enhance the UX for this dynamic digital whiteboard resource.
BRIEF
Develop the content, flow and user experience for the learning interactive An Introduction to Parliament making it suitable for children aged 7-16, and helping them gain insight into how the UK Parliament works.
APPROACH
My aim was to improve and enhance the learning and user experiences for each age group.
We differentiated the resource for KS2, KS3 and KS4.
This required sound curriculum and subject research.
The resource’s extensive IA required a detailed editorial plan to ensure written content was age-appropriate and engaging, while avoiding any duplication as students advanced to higher difficulty levels.
I wrote the resource’s quizzes, descriptions and learning content, while also honing all text to support the user-flow and editing in HTML.
