Illustration, brand and web design went into building this Shopify site - where Explorer HQ promotes its planet-friendly apps, books, games and guides for nature lovers aged 8-80
Client: Explorer HQ
The team at Explorer HQ (of which I'm a part-time member) asked me to design and build a simple web presence on Shopify, a site that would allow it to begin promoting its consultancy services, but also develop its e-commerce offer - focusing on its range of books, games and guides.
All Explorer HQ's products are thoughtfully and lovingly crafted by the small indie team that works as a content studio, based in the beautiful Peak District. They also work as an eco-consultancy, helping large and small organisations deliver environmental projects, using its small team's complementary skills and experience to help those organisations connect with audiences meaningfully, in ways that encourage them to think, feel and act.
The immediate priority for the website was to create a simple, clear, engaging e-commerce solution that would help showcase some of its inspirational educational content and resources, while conveying how their work puts nature at the heart of learning, and makes exploration of the natural world fun through missions, books, events, games and stories.
